christian music

hey everybody, i was just thinking about this because awakening fest is going on near my house (awakening fest is a christian rock concert) and i can hear it from my window. Did you think that christian music was the stereotypical "jesus loves me yes i know, for the bible tells me so"? at first i did till i started doing some research on the bands that are on the line-up. theres some very "heavy" bands such as thousand foot krutch, fireflight, pillar, third day and many more; they're even going to have one of my favorite professional skateboarders, Christian Hosoi speak there. theyve been attracting a lot of hype amongst the high schoolers near me and on facebook, i didnt think that theyd be as big as theyre getting. anyways i just wanted to get that out there, the concert started last night and goes till tonight and the tickets are fairly priced (about $22 and it benefits a good cause)
